$800,000.00 – Failure to Extubate Properly
This case involved a young man in his late 20’s who was involved in an automobile/motorcycle accident. He went to the hospital to have his nose repaired. During surgery, the anesthesiologist failed to perform proper extubation, prematurely or incorrectly extubating our client resulting in loss of oxygen, pulmonary infiltrates and edema which resulted in cardiopulmonary arrest and death. This case settled for $800,000.00.
