Client slipped on grapes in a supermarket and fell, injuring her back. She had had a lumbar laminectomy about 18 months prior to the fall with good results and had begun to return to normal activities. After the fall her surgeon recommended removal of all hardware and a repeat lumbar laminectomy was performed. She also had a lumbar cage put in her back due to the exacerbation of her symptoms after the fall. Case settled pre-suit for $220,000.00.
