$150,000.00 – Collision resulting in Total Hip Replacement

  • September 15, 2018

Our client, a 29 year old mother, was stopped at a stop sign. Another vehicle, traveling 55 – 65 mph, approaching a U.S. Highway 27 intersection from the south struck another vehicle turning across the intersection. The collision caused one of the vehicles to rotate and strike our client’s resting vehicle. Our client suffered with numbness and tingling in her legs and was diagnosed with cervical sprain/strain. A victim of hip dysplasia as an infant, she has no real symptoms of the condition in her adulthood. Her injuries resulting from the collision necessitated a total hip replacement, causing her to miss an extensive amount of work to recover. (Note: The defendant’s insurance company offered zero compensation at mediation on this case.)
